![]() Still, the figure overall was very good and nicely sculpted and posed very well with the used of the figure stand and made a very nice addition to the growing Batman Microman series. One of my all time favorite GI JOE figures, the Cobra Viper! The foot soldier of the Cobra armada, or is the Cobra Trooper the foot soldier of the Cobra Armada?Īnyway, I just dig these guys, they are like the Stormtroopers of the GI JOE universe right down to the lousy aim. This could be because the 5mm port is very shallow on the Female Full Action Body, however a 5mm peg would really help to secure the cape in place. Unlike Batman, there was no 5mm peg to plug the cave into her 5mm port. Takara designer added articulation to the cape, a nice touch but for some reason it lack the connector to secure it to the body. One of the more annoying problem with Microman Batgirl was with her cape. Batgirl came with hair that can be poseable in up flowing manner, which look nice when you pose her "in-motion" but can look a little strange with the joint showing at the end of her neck. The problem for these two female figures seem to be the fact that they were a little too top heavy (and no I am not talking about their bust sizes, the weight came from the extra PVC parts on their heads). The body joints for some reason were not as tight as Microman Catwoman, although not as bad as Microman Silene. The pelvic section, like all the recent Microman releases that used Female Full Action Body was left detached from the frame.īatgirl only came with one accessory - her utility bag, which attached to her pelvic via a small peg. (Glitter gold painted just do not apply well to PVC and plastic). The paint job was a little sloppy here and could have much to do with the choice of color. Her body was done in dark gray plastic (almost black) like her companion Batman but her chest emblem, gloves, belt and boot were painted in gold color. ![]() ![]() The figure used the Full Action Female body with new pelvic and forearm sections. The main attraction to this set, however, was the new Microman Batgirl figure. Takara also drop the muscle detail highlight and the figure look much better this way without the exaggerated muscle lines. The figure came with the same accessories as the MA-07 version. His Bat-Utility Belt however was painted gold to match his companion Batgirl. The figure was essentially the same as the one released previously. Batman was based on his black costume with yellow emblem while Batgirl was also based on black color costume.īatman body was actually more like dark gray in color than black and his gloves, cowl and cape were painted dark blue gray color. The set consisted of recolor version of Microman Batman along with newly sculpt Batgirl using Microman Female Full Action Body. ![]() The set was released along with SP02 Devilman & Silene set by Takara as part of the Micro Action Series. Takara released special two-pack MA-SP01 Batman & Batgirl set in September 2004. The stand features Microman "Da Vinci" style logo emboss on clear plastic with two styles of pegs - one for the newer Microman 2004 figures and one for the vintage figures with 5mm port. Microman 2004 came with new style figure stand.
